“Unfortunately not a great product.We have many other hoselink items and they are fantastic, however this one not so much.The holder for the end of the hose broke first time we used it. The hose is much smaller in diameter than the normal hoses resulting in bad pressure, no good for car washing, window washing or anything that requires pressure.”
Hi Darren, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the Compact Hose Reel. We have had really good feedback about this product therefore this is really disappointing to hear. This hose reel does have a slightly smaller diametre hose to our standard hose reels, this is to ensure it stays compact for balcony and patio use. However, if you have good water pressure, you should still be able wash your car and windows without issues. “First unit came with a cross threaded connector. Thread was bared, not able to use as water leaked badly. On contacting Hoselink they sent out a new unit immediately. All good with second unit.”

Hi Deanna, thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the Compact Hose Reel. We would recommend connecting the long hose to the tap and spraying with the leader hose. This way the hose will pull out as you move around the garden and you can walk the unit back and retract it easily back at the tap. We do include screws to mount the unit to the wall, this is obviously a more permanent solution therefore, might not be suitable for all users. Kind regards, The Hoselink Team
