“I found the assembly instructions quite difficult, and finally had to admit defeat and get my husband to do it. He said he found it easy. Perhaps the instructions are geared to a male mind? I have to say, I do wonder why assembly should be necessary at all. Couldn't it just be delivered assembled and ready to go? I really don't see why that should cost extra. Having said that, it is a great product, but its a bit disappointing that all my sprinklers are now redundant. I didn't realise I would no longer be able to use them. Also, there is no point asking for delivery instructions when the freight service you use just ignores them. It took me over a week to get it delivered because they refused to do as asked and leave on back verandah. I have had trouble with this company before- they are lazy, don't look at instructions and just stick a card in mailbox saying they tried to deliver, which they didn't- I was home both days. Aust Post and Fedex have no trouble and always leave my parces on back porch as requested.HOSELINK RESPONSE:Thanks for your comments, glad you finally got your product up and running. Unscrew the male click on fitting from the accessory you wish to use, to reveal a thread, and then screw the Hoselink male connector (2470) directly into it.2. If this is not possible (thread size is wrong or male click on fitting is moulded in), then you can use a Hoselink Click-on Adapter (2490), which is screwed on to the Hoselink male connector (2470). The click-on adapter allows you to go between Hoselink and other garden fittings. You will need to use this method for weed and feed type products.Please note that we recommend the first option, as we cannot guarantee that the click-on adapter will not burst off. I have also suggested that my Aunt get your products when she moves into her new home. I usually like to get the better quality products as they tend to last longer. “Bought this product last year - 18m hose with hanger and ned kelly starter kit. First hose I have ever owned to go with my brand new house! The hose doesent burst off the tap like others and the hose hanger is a great idea! I didnt think I would need to use it but glad to have it! Love the different settings on the spraygun to. “We have found the hose to be excellent, it does not kink. Initially, my wife found that the fittings were very tight to twist on and off. Though, over time, the fittings loosened up and now they are perfect. Also, the sprinklers could use a swivel connector to help keep them flat. Otherwise, I'm very happy.”
