“The extension hose is fine HOWEVER I was disappointed that I had to purchase this product separately when it could have been an option for the main product. I now have 7 metres of extension hose when 5 metres would have done the job. A waste of money and resources at a time when society is attempting to minimise our footprint on the environment. I thought Hoselink might subscribe to this philosophy, but sadly not. Apart from that grouch, the hose reel works well, retracts nicely and no leaks.”

While some people do opt for a longer leader extension, the majority of our customer base use the 2m that are supplied with the hose reel already. As our reels are prepackaged with this 2m hose, swapping it out for a 5m leader hose is not something we are able to do. So sorry for the inconvenience caused. “It would be great if the hose reel had a short 300 mm lead, so that any length of leader hose could simply clip onto it. I had to cut the 1.5 metre hose off the reel to adapt the 5 metre hose.”
