“The addition of some detergent to water can increase the waters effectiveness in fire supression. After doing a dishwashing detergent mixing test at home with apparent satisfactory results, I have left a Fertiliser Spay Mixer hand piece with our local fire brigade so that they might have a test run with it….to better assess its value for home owners in a domestic situation doing their best with the garden hose in the face of a fire.
