“With all the people taking advantage of the 10/50 fire rule in Pittwater, we've had some displaced birds to deal with. I feel quite sorry for the birds but when a pair of little corellas started taunting a pair of nesting rainbow lorikeets in the gum tree directly outside our house I had to take action. I didn't want to hurt them, but give them a firm message that this particular nesting hole was already in use and they were not welcome to oust the current residents. So I purchased the blast controller to get some extra length from the hose stream. It goes a long way and has a good stream - enough to make the corellas move branches. Not enough to move them from the tree unfortunately where they taunted me daily for a couple of weeks. But enough to save the nesting lorikeets. Anyhow, vigilance with the blaster has paid off and the corellas have moved on. Yay for the blaster!”
“A great tool for hosing down a patio, paving, or a wall where something, such as oil, is spilt. Its flow adjustment knob ensures that flow is controlled at point of use and thus water is not wasted, while at the same time getting the job done adequately. Depending on the offending material used, it could be excellent for removing graffiti too.”
“We have a variety of birdlife that frequent our garden, which we encourage. Since we have concrete garden furniture, bird baths and pavers, their excrement will always be hard to avoid. The blaster has sufficient power to eradicate most of the mess however and I would strongly recommend it. The fact that you can turn it off at the point of control is also a bonus.”
