“A graet product. I wish I had it sooner. It makes it so much easier washing the car, inparticular cleaning the break dust off the wheels and removing dirt inside the wheel arches. Its so good, I bought another one for a friend.”
“Okay - yes it has less power than a gerni (and that will also depend on your mains pressure), BUT it has about 1/10th the TOTAL PFAFFF of a gerni. This product will not take paint off a surface (unless it's already peeling off) so you'll still want a pressure washer for doing that sort of thing. However, I bought this to keep our patio clean (especially from bird poop). If I've let the bird poop dry too much then I just give it a bit of a spray with soapy water from a spray bottle and let it sit for 10 minutes before I come back with this jet attachment and it works beautifully. Prior to purchasing the hoselink system, I used to use a gerni to clean the patio and it was an absolute complete and utter pain in the butt - so many cables (power cord, garden hose (which leaked and came off, btw) and the water pipe to the hand-held jet) - so much tangling and pfaffing around to get to all areas of the patio, so much time to get it out, set it up and then put it away. Since buying the hoselink retractable hose and a couple of attachments, cleaning my patio IS SO MUCH FASTER AND SIMPLIER AND EASIER, WORTH EVERY ***-DAMNED PENNY I SPENT.
The jet washer comes with two nozzles - a narrow jet and flat horizontal spray; I just used the latter to wash the car. I also have an ordinary spray bottle attachment (equivalent to Fertiliser Spray Mixer) that I use with an adapter and filled with truck wash. Between that and the jet washer - easiest car wash I've ever done. I think this product would be fine if you're looking to get your car clean after some mud bashing.
You will need to assess whether this works for your particular scenario. If you're looking for serious pressure, you're going to need a pressure washer - it's not a substitute for a gerni/karcher and if you buy it thinking it will substitute for your pressure washer, then you're going to be disappointed. For anything down from that, this will definitely make your life easier. For me, it is worth every single cent and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this whole system.
I should also note that I tried buying a similar jet washer attachment for regular garden hoses from bunnings (in an attempt to get an easier solution for the patio) and you know what it did - it burst off every single time and showered me with water - it's what drove me to try hoselink in the first place, and I'm very glad I did.”
