Comfort 8-Pattern Flow Control Sprayer Reviews

Good value sprayer. (Comfort 8-Pattern Flow Control Sprayer) The actuating thumb lever was too stiff when we first met, but I put some silicon spray on wiggled it about for a while and it's fine now. It's ok for older, arthritic hands too, so it's a lot better than the other offerings you'll find in Bunnings, which are always way too slippery and stiff in our experience. I bought this to supplement the original die-cast one which I am about to overhaul. We have been really happy with it, as it is so much lighter. One drawback I've found is that the Centre spray is different from other spray guns: it's a dispersed cone of fewer separate streams, like an anemic shower setting, rather than the concentrated and more powerful parallel centre setting we're used to. Dropped a star for that, as it limits it's utility for me. Jet and Full setting are identical, but good strong streams. Shower setting is where it's at though, and this gives a good soaking rain without disturbing the mulch or scaring the chickens. I stepped on it today and displaced the rubber ring, but it seems to have gone back ok.

Excellent. It is very comfortable to use especially with my arthritic hands.

I like this sprayer but like a few of the Hoselink products it has a 'weakest link'.The green variable trigger is prone to breaking and whilst Hoselink have been very accommodating in replacing the whole unit it should make them think about making the unit more robust.Same problem for the Hose Control with Flow Control, it is a wonderful idea and overall a great product BUT once again the yellow trigger is prone to breaking. Likewise Hoselink support will provide replacement triggers if you ask/complain but I just think a metal trigger or a more significant plastic trigger would save us all a lot of hassle.Same problem with the Blaster. It is a great product BUT the metal nose will deteriorate over time and it no longer blasts and starts to spray. I am not sure what metal it is made of but it does decay very quickly which is disappointing.I like the Hoselink products (and continue to buy them) and acknowledge that they do provide GREAT customer support but their products are letting the customer down and require the Hoselink team to pick up the pieces when a customers has to complain.

The turn on tap is pretty hard to use however the unit has no dissimilar metals like the other sprayer I had trouble with. The patterns are good and the jet is very precise with no extra side spray.

Overall excellent loosing the trigger is brilliant. It is so much easier to use and hang up!. Only exception the ‘center’ pattern selection, it is not a ‘center’ pattern it's a weird kind of ten pronged cone type of spray. I personally preferred the center selection spray pattern on the original trigger gun. But overall functionality of the product is excellent. Just a bit disappointed with the ‘center’ pattern spray section as I used to use that a lot.

Love, love, love it as of all HOSELINK products I have purchased for myself and gifts for friends. I have found the hose does not twist as much with the swivel connection. I have no hesitation recommending HOSELINK and it makes great gifts. For any of my friends reading this take the hint. Cheers
