“Generally the Hoselink products I have bought are exceptional. Unfortunately this one did not fit the bill. I installed in on an old tap and within moment of turning it on it leaked which is virtually unheard of with this gear. I took it off and retried multiple times and it still leaked. I looked inside the large thread section and found that halfway down the thread was crossed up causing the fitting to end up cross threaded when fully home on the tap. This is fitted to an auto system so I have changed to an alternate brand I had lying around. I bought multiple parts over a short time (including another hose) and I have only found this and one other normal tap fitting in the grey version that had the same issue. I am still committed to using hoselink but I think I will look at the brass 2 way instead of the poly version. I'm not sure I can recommend the grey poly version of the 2 way but otherwise I am a fan of the products.”

Thankfully issues like cross threaded connections are very rare and is not something we see every day.
