“My wife and I decided to buy a Hoselink misting package for ourselves for Christmas. It arrived the day before our annual Christmas street party, which is always held on our back deck. It was immediately installed, tested and adjusted and was ready for our party the following night. The night of the party was particularly hot and we positioned our 85 year old neighbour, Pat, in a big cane chair under one of the misters. At first she wondered where the spray was coming from, but soon realised how good it felt. She was worried that if she left her seat for any reason, someone would take it as it was in prime position. At last she had to go to the 'ladies', so I obliged and minded her seat for her. At first I thought that the 8 misters might not be enough, however it turned out to be plenty. We had about 20 people there that night and most were standing - the spray covered our whole deck and it was interesting to see how everybody repositioned themselves under the misters over the course of the evening. My son In Canberra now has a misting set installed and my other son in Canberra is dropping hints for a possible birthday present.”
