“The Hoselink Wi-Fi Gateway has been a disappointment. It disconnects after a random amount of time (minutes to hours). When connected, it does not transfer all information. For example, it doesn't update the watering time remaining, nor would it allow me to turn off the rain delay. This is not a connection problem - the wifi signal is strong, and the unit is close to the tap timers. Maybe a different router would work - I use a new Deco Mesh AX3000 (X50) system. I've tried a lot of things to get this to work reliably - the gateway is restricted to 2.4GHz, beam forming turned off, static IP address allocated etc. But no joy. I notice on the internet that various other IoT gateways also cause trouble.”
