“I was cutting down a small tree with my large bow saw when I could not access some of the exposed roots. It required the use of an axe to finish cutting out the roots. I found an old axe but the head was blunt and whilst I was thinking about what to sharpen it with I remembered I had the sharpener. I decided to give it a go and much to my surprise it worked. It really dug into the metal and produced a very sharp line and the roots stood little chance of hanging in there after I started swinging the axe. This a very effective tool capable as I discovered of taking on larger tasks.”
