“Not as sturdy feeling as I expect from Hoselink, but attcack the shrubbery in fine form leaving neat cuts behind despite my fumble fingers. A good buy for me as approach my eighties. I particulkarly like the touch of including the oilwell in the handle, Thoughtful design.”
“This product failed using reasonable care. It’s made from some cheap materials and similar products using a rivet instead of an adjustable tension bolt can be purchased for under $10. Under ACCC rules the manufacturers warranty is secondary to reasonable expectation of the products performance. In this case one should expect at least 3-5 years from pruners costing $25-$30. Hoselink do not stand by their products outside their manufacturers warranty. Attaching photo showing the issue of a poor quality rivet leading to failure of the cutters. 1 = loose rivet, 2 = misaligned cut.”
