At first, I had to make sure prongs were in the right positions over some of the weeds. Got the hang-of-that reasonably quickly, although some were hard to see with clover covering most of a weed I was wanting removed. Had weeds growing very close to concrete and had trouble getting the weeder to operate, so had to return to a previous method of using a flat headed screwdriver to lift the weed out. Bindi eye and clover are difficult to pull out with the Stand-up Weed Puller. Impossible really for Bindi. For the long rooted weeds it does the job well. It will take a bit of time to clear both front and back yard, but am happy with this purchase.

This product works really well ( after I figured out how to use it properly that is).A real saver on the back, not having to bend over to get those weeds out.

So far so good. It’s easy to use. My 6 year old uses it on our 3 acre paddock. My wife loves it. It doesn’t leave a big hole after you pull the weed out which is good. Time will tell how robust it is but so far it seems pretty sturdy.

I was very excited about this product. However, it was not as great as I thought it would be for the following reasons:1. It pulls up lawn runners as well as the weeds2. It pulls up a lot of dirt with it, which creates quite big holes3. It jams, so I have to get my foot onto it to push it off4. Sometimes if the weed roots are deep or entangled, it only comes up slightly and then comes off the prongs, meaning I still have to bend down to finish pulling it outMany of the items I have listed may be due in part to the type of weeds I am trying to pull out. The single tap root type weeds were not too bad, but the winter grass that has a very fine but matted root ball was causing a lot of issues. If you can recommend something to get rid of this very annoying weed I would be very grateful. I have a lawn full of it.I will continue to use the product, as it is still better than bending over

It took me about 10 minutes to work out how to use this product. We have had significant rainfall and a lot of dirt came out with each weed, and it took an hour or so to separate soil from the roots but it was all OK.I told my neighbour that I would use this on his front lawn when I got rid of all my weeds and it looks like I've been using a wide pronged aerator. I tried it on the front footpath of our neighbour opposite and it worked famously with the big weeds but there was one deep rooted, stubborn weed that refused to cooperate. I haven't figured out how to remove clover with this tool and if anyone has any tips, I’d be glad to hear from you.My back doesn't hurt as much now, and I have more incentive to weed the lawn now. I've seen ads for similar products which are applied by pushing into the ground then twisting them around the plant, but the method with the Stand-up Weed Puller looks much more effective and easy.
