“The stand-up weed puller worked well on dandelions, as well as paspalum (crowngrass) heads after rain had softened the ground. However, the plastic lever/mechanism looks and feels flimsy, so I'm not surprise some other reviews have commented on breakage - I assume this would occur after prolonged use or heavier work (e.g. dry ground conditions).”

“I was so excited to receive this product, to remove all our weeds from our lawn in our property. I started using to device it was easy enough to assemble which was good. I started pulling out the weeds, it was ok. But the puller on the ground wasn’t large enough it would brake some of the weeds on the ground. Then the dirt and grass started to get stuck all the time. Really hard to clean, I had to use my foot to get the grass off. It broke very quickly and started to jam up. I then tried to clean it but it was so jammed up it wouldn’t work. Then the plastic part broke with the handle moving up and down, so I tried to fix that with no luck. So I continued to try and use the device, but it was getting more impossible to use. Everytime the grass would get stuck and the dirt inside the bottom claw part. I then was pulling back on the ground part and the metal if you would it that bent on me. So it was now completely broken so I tried to bend it back, the correct way with no luck. Then I bent it back to correct way which made it even more terrible. It the end the metal then was so poor it broke in half and snapped I just put it in the bin. Completely over priced and poorly made this was broken within about 2 hours of receiving it.”

“I really love the Stand-up-weed-puller. Very easy to use and works well. The only concern is the plastic support on the ground if you strike a heavy root I don't like to strain as it is only plastic (although relatively strong) I don't want to pull too hard in fear of it failing. Otherwise great product”
