Hi Jen, thanks for taking the time to leave your comments and sorry to see your swivel connection has broken. This particular fitting does have two components to allow the spray gun to rotate freely to prevent the hose from twisting behind you. For this reason, if this is dropped onto a hard surface or hits the casing when retracted too quickly, this can break unfortunately. We do have a standard Accessory Connector which is all one piece so is more robust if this would be better for you?
