It has a different control handle to the previous sprayers I purchased a few year ago and was compatible with the previous fittings. “The sprinkler is well built and looks like it will out last most sprinklers on the market only issue I've got with it is the water pressure that comes out of it. I get more hight and distance out of a nylex hose and oscillating sprinkler so I'm able to cover more area at once.”

“This is the new version of this Comfort 8 pattern flow control sprayer. The old version was widely criticized for its Centre spray function and the fact that its not as useful as the Centre spray function of the Metal hose end sprayer. So when I learned a new version was coming I was excited, believing that Hoselink would address that problem and we would have the good Centre spray function. Sadly that is not the case and the centre function is useless again. To make things worse the whole sprayer has shrunken and is now uncomfortable in the hand. Wow Hoselink you had the opportunity to make this great and dropped the ball in the design department. Another new feature?? no one asked for is the flow control which is different but not better and I never saw any complaints about the old flow control.”

We adjusted some features on the sprayer to better address some concerns and feedback from many customers. It was shortened in length so as to not be so bulky in the hands with all the connectors attached, the flow lever was strengthened due to issues with it breaking in some situations, and we do hear your feedback in regards to the center function, this is a popular opinion of our customers, so we are happy to pass this feedback along to our products team. “I have about 6 hose end sprayers from Hoselink. 2 Metal ones (awesome but they need annual servicing.) 2 plastic ones great except the centre flow setting is terrible (nothing like the excellent centre setting on the Metal ones.)
I have read many reviews of the Plastic sprayers complaining about the useless centre flow setting. Fast forward to this new release plastic Hose end Sprayer. I had been waiting to order this one wrongly believing that this would be the one, the one that doesn't need the maintenance, the one that has the excellent centre flow like the metal one. Sadly this one is a FLOP the centre flow setting is still useless and now the handle is shorter and less comfortable in the hand. Please sack your buyer as they screwed this one up. Maybe there will be a New revision in the future that fixes the Centre flow setting and hopefully makes the handle full size again.”

We are sorry to hear you are not enjoying the new model spray gun. The length has been shortened to make the Hoselink fittings/spray gun less bulky however, should still be comfortable to hold. The centre setting has been mentioned by a few customers therefore, is already something being looked into.
