“The mounting screws and plastic expanders do not hold the weight of the retractable hose reel when full of water. I had to use metal expanders to mount it safely on a brick wall. Best not to include anything if it is not going to do the job”

The mechanism is far better than the older version, which I purchased over 10 years ago and still going strong at my holiday home. The hose got fully extended (30 metres), full of water and it retracted beautifully. This set up is so much better than the old hose I had that was looped of a hose hanger and always getting tangled.
