“Recently bought the new evolve 30m hose reel in Charcoal. I have used it approximately 5 times now where i have pulled the hose out to near it's full extent. I have found that it retracts to within 2 metres and tends to stop. I then have to pull it out a few more metres and carefully feed it back in. I'm a little disappointed as I thought the new design would not have this problem that I have encountered with the old style reel. Currently our 2 X old style reels, retract better than the new one unfortunately.”

From the information you have provided, it sounds like the hose may not be layering correctly and needs repositioning, which is something that can be easily done.

“Tried new reel. Easy to install and use. Good length but I find the flow rate even though better then original hose does not appear as good as the high flow hose reel. Rewind mechanism on new model does appear smoother then original”
