“I bought one of these two years ago. It’s bright and the alternative modes are useful. Quite a trim, unobtrusive unit. I was very pleased with it UNTIL I had to take it off the wall to check why it was not lighting up at night.Two years on, the screws in the back are rusting (sad when simple design choices impact longevity - s/s screws would have made more sense) and the solar panel has warped and peeled away from the body. It’s unclear whether the gap that has been revealed under the solar panel will result in rainwater ingress and an internal short circuit (lithium battery anyone?).Having trouble getting feedback from Hoselink about this issue.I still recommend it because it is still working, but it doesn’t seem to be designed to copy with hot Aussie weather.”

“Just a further to my last review, as suggested by Hoselink I have tried to access the rechargeable battery to replace it as per their advice. The dodgy mild steel screws that hold the rear cover of the light on have all rusted and cannot be removed. Also the plastic cover over the sensor is so brittle it shattered as I flipped the light over.This is an outdoor light, correct? Apparently do not get these wet or expose them to sunlight.. Back in the bin it goes.”
