“I have an east facing balcony which 50% of it gets 4 hours direct sunlight, othertimes in shade but bright-ish, and I wasn't sure how effective solar lights would be. With the warmer months I wanted to take full advantage of my balcony for relaxing and having a meal/drink outdoors. I knew I wanted lights with a warm glow as I hate the cold blue light of most solar lights. I got a pair of these to put into two pots at either end of the balcony. Out of the box I knew these were solid and looked great. For the first two days I put the lights into direct sun for as long as possible and now I leave them in their intended place. Wow! At dusk they turned on and the light is so powerful and the yellow glow great! The light is very bright when the sensor is activated. I have put a strip of tape over one of the lights as its so sensitive the leaves from the plant moving in the wind tends to activate it. So far i've had two days of overcast and rainy weather....and the lights have lasted all night! The battery and panel are def high quality. I have some string fairy lights from Bunnings that get significantly more direct light than these yet yesterday they ran out of battery within 2 hours of dusk due to the overcast weather. Highly recommend these lights to anyone wanting a more natural and warm glow.”
