Thanks for the review, Jane. It's great to hear you love the crackle lantern. The charge on the solar lights can be affected by the change in seasons. As the days start to get longer, you will likely find that the charge on the light become longer.

“Lovely solar light - very pleased with it. However, it is a bit touchy as in it doesn't always stay on. Been trying to see if the wires need to be straight etc. Will persevere and contact Hose link if it doesn't work.”

The best thing to do is try resetting it by holding down the button on the underside of the lid for 15-20 seconds, then leaving it in full sun for 6-8 hours.
