“Beautiful watch for the price. Originally ordered in grey but in the flesh the contrast between the face and the numerals was too slight for my taste, so swapped for the all back version and I like it more each time I wear it. Not too flash, quite understated compared with other U-boats and the air bubble in the oil is a nice touch - aligning it dead centre has become my new pastime! Got a good deal in the sale but to be honest would have been happy to have paid full price. Only negative is the box - older models have a nicer box with a porthole window at the top to view the watch while boxed, but this model just comes with a big standard velvet box which is a bit of a letdown.”
“This Bulova Marine Star with white dial and with red accents is not just an elegant looking watch. The dial of this Marine Star has a simple yet effective design to it. I like the simplistic style with the elegantly written ‘Marine Star’ branding. It has that easy to read style and includes luminous markers and hands, this makes it easier to read in dim lit conditions. There is a nice little date display between the 4 and 5 o’clock position that fits in perfectly with the rest of the dial. The strap of the Bulova 96B255 is made of solid stainless steel and features a standard push button deployment clasp with a safty catch. The button on the top left rotates the outer stainless steel bezel. I first looked at the Marine Star in blue but then I saw this one in white, I just had to have this instead. It also states that it has a wearable water depth of 100m, to me this isn't a worry as I will never use it to go swimming. I love watches and this Marine Star with white dial is another member of my growing collection. So if you are like me and love elegant looking watches for everyday usage, with a difference from the norm, then this watch is for you.”
