“I’m gonna tell you a little secret you won’t read in any of these other reviews…
I have big feet. I wear a size 14 shoe. My feet are literally a foot long. Everything you’ve heard about men with big feet is true!! We DO wear big shoes! We DO have sensitive toes! We DO complain over the smallest stone under our delicate tootsies.
… and I have to say… the plain unmodified iKamper ladder makes me so sad because it really hurts my big feet. There’s just not enough support and it causes me pain.
As a result, generally I wear my shoes up into the tent so I can put them on before I use the ladder.
However, thanks to this accessory, the steps now have enough support for my entire foot that I don’t need my shoes anymore! I can just climb up and down with ease. No pain!

“purchased these step covers for my roof top tent. Makes geting my dog in/out of tent much easier. Night time bathroom trips infinitely easier with "actual stair treads" under your feet in the dark. Wife also added that it feels great on her bare feet!!!

“Oh what a difference climbing up into our iKamper X-Cover RTT. It’s always been one my dislikes of RTT’s…climbing the ladder. My boys talked me into the iKamper HC steps to make our ladder more like stairs and I couldn’t love it more. So easy on bare feet. Highly recommended!”
“Makes climbing up the ladder way easier for myself and kiddo. They do get muddy and collect dirt pretty easily even when slightly wet outside. Additionally, when folding them up (the proper way) into the shell, i had issues closing it and i believe that is because i store other stuff in the shell too in addition to the foam pad. I think if i had the inflatable mattress and left the steps attahed it would have closed no issues. Also to note, not instructions came with the steps althought it's pretty straight forward to attach them.”
“I bought these steps for the sole purpose of loading my dogs into the RTT. They took to it immediately and come in and out of the tent with ease and, more importantly, without fear. I’m also 63 and these steps made me feel more safe going up and down the ladder. I was not able to fit the ladder in the bag or RTT with the steps but I have not tried pushing them back through the front. I will try that when I sweep and air out in a couple weeks. Overall, well worth the price and I’m super satisfied with the purchase.”
