“Doesn't stand up to a breeze. You will struggle to keep this from falling apart in even the slightest amount of wind even with the guy lines. This is not the quality I have come to expect from ikamper. Very disappointing.”
“Takes at least two people if not three to setup, vs the tent takes only one it takes at least three times more time to set up the awning than it does the tent. It is very hard to get it sturdy enough to shed even a slight rain, and if the ground isn't just right to hold the tent stakes it doesn't hold up at all. At best this is a shade awning, not a weather protection awning. The only plus is that it packs down small vs brining a 10x10 or other type of awning.”
“The design is great if you're looking for some extra square footage in a tent. Was really torn between a clamshell design and this, but needed some extra room for the dog. The X-cover 2.0 was the best of both worlds, having the hard shell with crossbars, but opens up to a much larger space. Unfortunately the side skirt was torn during shipping, but iKamper offered to replace it or send a patch kit at no cost with expedited shipping. A+ on them for customer service. Thanks iKamper!”
