Great way to keep it a little warmer when camping in cold weather. Combined with a diesel heater or ducted propex heater you will not be cold.

Game Changer!!! Did some winter camping in 17°F temperatures and it performed flawless. Inside of tent was able to hold around 50°F with a small electric heater running off our Jackery. No more icicles inside the tent.

The average increase of temperature during my last trips versus outside temperature was + 5˚ Celsius (7-9 versus 2-4 C˚). I leave the insulation tent inside, but unclip all clips except the two at the rear bottom. That makes it easy to clip on again as orientation of the remaining clips is easy. Besides the temperature improvement the atmosphere is much more comfortable and cozy. The product fits nicely. I leave also 2 Sleeping bags inside. The Skycamp 2.0 is on top of the car all year long and the additional gas consumption is 1 liter per 100 km

Works great! Just wish the fit was a bit more neat. Top insulation falls, maybe just a few more roop/hooks. We have used for both cold and hot climates, in the summer just port in a small AC hose or, put the AC in the tent with you, so great during hot summers (+100f), keeping the cool of the AC in. Also been as cold as 32F, didnt need heater quiet yet just decent sleeping bags, which I kept mine slighty open. I think the best part of insulation is the noise protection, much quieter than without, and any tent on the ground. Also we leave it installed when closing up, along with two pillows and two sleeping bags, had to adjust the hooks on the locks a bit, as deisgned.

-2°F no wind, couldn’t manage to fit the last s-hook in place but tucked it in tightly under the self-inflating mattress, which did not self-inflate lol (and didn’t bring the hand pump/didn’t want to blow moisture into it). Because of the latter I assume, I slept excessively cold. The temp on the interior was probably low 40/30’s. I put all my clothes on and some hand warmers in my socks. Better than not having it! Think I’ll very carefully use a buddy heater next time along with the rest.

I haven't been able to winter camp yet, but I was able to close the tent with the insulation kit, the self-inflating and the foam mattress, and the HC Step installed.
