“You better have a good pump for this mattress... the little bag they sell you just doesn't cut it. And if you don't deflate it as much as possible, it makes it hard to close the tent and it's nearly impossible to deflate it manually by squeezing it. Even with a strong pump, it takes a good while to deflate. I spent a long hard night because I depended on the bag to inflate the mattress after it self inflated... the bag is worthless.”
“Upgraded to this mattress shortly after buying the skycamp mini 3.0 and boy what a difference in sleep this made. Woke up the next morning feeling no pain whatsoever. The mattress fits a bit snug near the front hatch, but nothing that can't be adjusted for the next trip. If you have trouble sleeping while camping, I would highly suggest this upgrade”
“This should come free with a $4000 RTT. I don't know a single person that uses the stock foam pad that comes with the RTT. I took a 2-week road trip, covered 6000 miles and only had 1 comfortable night. The mattress was either too hard or too soft and I slept on the hard floor. I ended up going to Walmart and buying 2 backpacking foam mats to put under the mattress. Now that I am home, I will place the original foam pad under the air mattress. Maybe that will help.
I only recommend it because it is better than the original OEM pad.”
