“Material quality seems great but I do have some design thoughts. I ordered the iKamper comfort air mattresses to replace the standard foam mattresses that it came with. The air mattresses were much thinner and as a result, it did not hold up the top shell. My shell when closed looks uneven and weird because of this. A better design would be to have some kind of support on the opposite side of the hinge when closed. Another concern was I didn't know that the middle section is exposed when closed (the side soft cover is the only thing that protects it); dirt and moisture can come inside. Another concern about that open middle area design is that I have to make sure nothing sticks pass the edges becaue if it does, when I open the iKamper, the two metal contacts will get caught or damage whatever gets between there. I think a better design would be to have some kind of rubber flap inside to prevent things from that edge.”
“First time setup takes some time. Need to be very careful when pulling the ladder to no hit the side of the truck. Rods for side awnings bit difficult to slide into place. Openings in the bottom of the frame larger than expected, ikamper missed the mark with the top moon vents zippers, they do not fully close and light gets thru but overall had a good night slip, will need to buy the insulation tent and use sleeping pads to improve comfort”

“Took the tent up to Ouray, CO with my two boys and loved it. It was comfortable for the three of us with our clothes bags in the tent too. It would be pretty tight with a fourth person. Everything on the tent is made of quality materials and it stayed dry through a couple of rainy nights. The mounting equipment held up well on some challenging terrain and bumpy roads. Definitely would recommend for the price/quality!”
