“Im having some issues with my tent I bought it back in may, and I like it but my mattress has some spots where the cushions are flattened, also the hard top came cracked on one of the corners, I contacted iKamper and I was sent to warranty, here is where the bad service started, the warranty form asks for a serial number on the tent!! Wow it’s not enough with the order number and the fact that I paid a couple thousand $$ for it, and to top it it’s been over a month and I haven’t received any answers from iKamper, very disappointed and regretting spending my money on a company that doesn’t care after you purchase their items.”
Hey Alex -
We are sorry to hear there have been some issues with your tent. It looks like one of our associates reached out to you for further questions!
“I bought this tent in September and the straps don’t hold and flap in while driving down the road. I’m pretty disappointed and really worry about the longevity with the straps. For a couple thousand dollars you’d expect them to hold.”
Hey Charlie -
I am sorry to see this has happened with your skirt. It looks like one of our associates was able to help you get a replacement in this case. Let us know if you have any other issues at support@ikamper.com!
“We love this tent! It’s so easy to set up and has plenty of space. Excited to use it for years to come. Also, iKamper customer service and shipping are excellent!”
“We slept 6 nights in our X-Cover on top of my Ram 1500 and it was fantastic. We slept 2 adults and 2 large dogs in the tent comfortably and had enough space to just toss our extra stuff in the corner while we slept. The ladder barely reached the ground with a lifted 1500 with bigger tires mounted at roof height. I'll probably pick up the extension for future trips, but it worked good enough for this one. The sky light windows are an amazing touch. Set up and tear down was a breeze after I figured out the process.”
“I had a wedge RTT that served us well for a year, but it was time for a little more room. As soon as we got back from our last trip, I sold it and we bought the X-Cover 3.0. I couldn’t be happier. I love the space and not having to deal with a cover like some other fold out tents make this the perfect blend. The mattress Is comfy enough for us so we have been using it just as we bought it. So far, I am extremely happy with this tent.”
“We've camped in our X-Cover 3.0 three times now and it's been so much fun. It is easy to set up and really only takes just a couple of minutes, and the same for the shut down. We are comfortably sleeping two adults and two 50lb dogs. We have also installed and removed the tent from the rack now a few times, and with two people it hasn't been difficult. The way it attaches to the rack is simple and requires one tool. We've added the locks which gives me piece of mind that it won't disappear off of our truck, and those were also very easy to install. We've done our share of tent camping, backpacking, even van trips, but we are really enjoying being able to sleep in a comfortable tent, that has room for our family, in remote areas that require 4x4 and clearance to get to. This really combines the space and lighter weight of a soft top rooftop tent with the ruggedness of a hard-shell rooftop tent. Highly recommend!!”

“Tent setup and breakdown is very easy. The tent is lightweight and currentlty has no impact to fuel economy. Also got to experience the tent through a few rain showers...the combination of the tent and the annex made it comfortable. My only concern is the durabilty of the plastic corner pieces that are on the top of the tent when it is closed. There is already a crack where one of the rivets is. I already spoke with iKamper and they confirmed that it doesn't impact structural integrity or weatherproofing and recommended that I use epoxy for the crack. All in all, I am excited to fully test it out for other camping adventures and also as my home away from home when deploy for disater responses.”
