“Overall a great roof top tent which is sleeping 2 adults, one child, and a small dog. Easy setup and take down. Easily cleaned. Nice large sleeping and sitting area. My biggest gripe is with the bed it comes with. It’s very thin and/or not supportive. Even adding gym mats underneath is not enough to make it comfortable. You will likely have to invest in an additional sleeping pad to get a good nights sleep. Second minor issue is to make sure the entrance rainfly poles are pushed in all the way before flexing or you will break the casting. The side rainfly mounts are made of a stronger metal. Even with a partially broken casting my rainfly stays up, but I’ll likely need a replacement part after this season.”
“Had a quick winter night in low altitude sierras about 4K feet. Late at night cold breeze 30mph gusts from snow topped mountains.
The tent didn’t flex from the howling wind. Retained warmth and felt safe from the elements. Wonderful first experience and so happy w our 3.0.”

“I bought this and had come to Ikamper office in WA for installation. Installation on my 4Runner was a breeze and Brandon did a fantastic job of giving instructions on how to open and close the tent and tips on easy closing the top. I actually took my rig to Alaska and couldn't be happier. One night we had 4 people (5'7 average height) cramped in and it wasn't too bad. Tent survived bumps, rocks, branches and rain. Once you have the routine down it's quick to open and close the RTT. Thanks to Cheryl for your help on selecting the Skycamp3.0 and the tour of the facility. Great service and quality product.
Tip on closing: Leave zipper of door half open. Pull top down slowly, as it's slowly closing, climb up and tuck in the canvas windows (front/back). Once top is complete down then you just have to lock it up.”
