“Extremely disappointing so far. My skycamp mini showed up 6 days ago and endured some minor damage during transit. After immediately filing a damage report as instructed on the website, as well as reaching out to customer service through email, I have yet to receive any kind of response/acknowledgement from ikamper 6 days later.
This tent costs too much money for customer service to leave me hanging for a week. At this point I’m just hoping I don’t have to get a lawyer involved”
“The tent is super cool and easy to set up, Sadly my sping rods rusted very quickly after a few uses and tried unsucesfully to claim under warranty or even get information on buying new ones either from my local reseller or iKamper directly. Customer service is extremely poor (multiple attemps overt 18 months) and no one seems to care... Luckily the overall quality is good I just hope nothing goes wrong as I am afraid it could easily become a nightmare...”
“I was apprehensive of purchasing something so large, in both size and expense, without actually touching and feeling the product. Based solely on video and customer reviews, I took the leap and am glad I did. The 3.0 Mini arrived in perfect condition. The bed rack installation took less than 15 minutes. The first time I set the tent up took less than 2 minutes to be able to sleep in it. Total set up, allowing for playing with all interior features, took about 15 minutes. Folding the tent for storage takes about 5 minutes. I really can't think of any complaints about the 3.0 Mini. If there was one change I would like to see, is the clear top window have a zipper, so I don't have to roll back the entire rain fly to have a true open view of the sky. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a rooftop/truck bed tent.”
“Overall the tent and hard shell has really well engineered and good. Mattress can be an upgrade need for some. Does well with moisture resistance and stands up to all 4 seasons. My only issue has been after a month is the protective rubber/plastic shoes that ladder sits in. I had been camping near a river and the water level had just gone up 5 inches up my ladder which wasnt a concern for me but as i was packing up i didnt want water inside my tent so i noticed i could take the bottoms of the ladder off to get majority of the water out. Later trying to put them back on they wouldnt stay in place like i hoped them to since they easily came off in the first place but now its annoying that they wont stay on and i dont really want to super glue them back on.”
