“Product was defective and had fatal error when trying to connect. I followed the directions exactly, but it kept saying sensor failure.. I tried contacting the customer support email on the website and it bounced back. Ultimately I had to contact dexcom customer service directly and they informed me this was a fatal error and would not work.”
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with the transmitter. A sensor failure typically indicates a problem with the sensor but can sometimes be related to the transmitter. We warranty our transmitters for 90 days so we would be happy to help you resolve the issue and send out a replacement transmitter if the transmitter has malfunctioned.
