“The picture on the website shows a fitting only on 1 end. When I purchased it I thought that it had the standard BSP threads for 6mm or 1/4 inch push-in fittings which is normal for domestic water. However, this membrane has a proprietary fitting at one end which makes it impossible to use other than in the specific system it was designed for. My issue is not the proprietary fittings rather the lack of specifications on the webpage makes it misleading”
Hi Damien, I am sorry to hear you have not had a good experience. The picture on our website doesn't actually show any fittings. The blue piece at the end is a protective dust cap.
All the water filters cartridges on our website are specific to the water filter systems that we sell. The specifications for use are included in the instruction manual that comes with the system. As our systems are manufactured in the USA, they do not use the British Standard threads.
