“Mine had a small slash in the back edge of the desktop, but I took a razor blade and some sandpaper to smooth it out. Needed a quality check or more care in packing?
Desk assembles well, but it requires care not to compromise the dowels when aligning with the screws. Perhaps needs a warning to that effect. (Best done with 2 people to hold top and sides at exact right angles while the screws are being tightened.)
