“I have a lot of tattoos and have never used anything for the pain. I am working on a large cover up on my upper thigh and decided to try this out in hopes of sitting longer. This product was amazing. I didn't know what to expect but I was pretty shocked. I barely felt anything and was able to finally finish the entire piece.
These are the steps I took to use the product:
Showered, shaved, then exfoliated all around the tattoo area. I then applied a thick layer and wrapped it up. I had about two hours before the session. I left half of it covered for the first hour while the artist worked on another area of my leg. Then uncovered it when he was ready to work on that portion. I think this really helped keep the product working.
One side note, this product did make my leg swell up before the tattoo began- not sure if that is common.
Overall this product was amazing. I was shocked that it worked so well. I also believe that the healing process was faster after using this product.
Thanks Hush gel for a great product!”
“Decided to do a massive cover up on my back. I was dreading it due to a previous shoulder surgery and some nerve issues. My back was not happy. By the 4th appt., my back had had enough. The artist had used a spray which was of course used during the session, but I really needed something before she started. She suggested Hush, which I received before my 5th appt. Why oh why did I not find this sooner?! What a difference this makes! I have one more appt left to finish my full back and I don’t have to stress about the pain. Huge thank you to Hush!!”
“The Hush worked very well for the area by my wrist bone. Recommend leaving it on for more than a hr for best results. Not well for my forearm, only had Hush on for a hr. For my wrist bone area, I left it on for 2-3hrs and had great results.”
“This stuff really works if used correctly. Be extremely generous when applying it and leave it on/wrap it for as long as you are planning on sitting for your session.”
“I tried it two different time on the same piece and the first time it took the edge off for about an hour and a half but the second time it didn’t even help at all. My artist applied it both times and wrapped me in Saran Wrap let it sit for a little over an hour and then prepped the skin. Definitely won’t waste money on this again.”
