Thank you for all the hard work in creating a truly innovative and impactful product. The Ketone IQ shot is great. I take one first thing in the morning along with water + electrolytes and coffee before my fasted cardio (typically 1hr of zone 2 running). I usually face the two sided issue of choosing between a full stomach (GI issues) or running out of energy towards the end of my run if I do fasted. Ketones have allowed me to enjoy the benefits of fasted morning cardio with a ‘full tank of gas’. I have noticed a smoother and more sustained form of energy with my mornings.
My second use case for the Ketone IQ shot is during longer cardio sessions (2+ hour runs or 3+ hour rides), particularly those that include higher end aerobic or anaerobic efforts. I will take a shot along with a gel 10-15mins before the first harder effort, midway through the session if it is only aerobic.
One piece of feedback is that a Ketone IQ gel (including carbs + electrolytes) would fill a huge need for the endurance community. This would of course maximize the power of the ketones by providing carbohydrates, as well as solving for hydration. You could also make a gel that includes caffeine as well.
