“I was expecting this to have more coverage from the reviews. I haven't been loving how this lays on the skin and prefer the translucent powder over the powder foundation for a better more natural finish but will use this to touch up through out the day if I'm getting shiny.”

“I have been using Hynt Beauty products for several years dating back to when the product line was Christopher Drummond. I am of Eritrean/East African, Native American, and Northern European ancestry. My skin tone is difficult to match. I use the Honey Chestnut pressed powder along with a mixture of Bronzed Caramel and Honey Chestnut Velluto powders. The match is near perfect. So far, these are the only foundations and powders I will use. I appreciate the loyalty program and the natural ingredients. Even when I have used Bare Minerals or other similar products, the outcome is never as good as Hynt Beauty's. As a woman of color who actually LOVES her skin tone and looks, I am typically offended by the dearth of quality, affordable products for my skin tone. I believe that more nuanced colors should be available by all vendors, and I look forward to Hynt adding more to its product line. For now, I am satisfied.”
“Purchased this product last summer and LOVE IT. I have combination skin and it never looked dry, gave good medium coverage, traveled well, and blended seamlessly. My skin is acne prone and had no reaction. The ONLY reason it's not 5 stars is the sustainability of the packaging. I wish they had designed the compact for refill instead of having to buy a new one each time. Just wasteful.

Other pointer: It would be helpful to label the shades relative to the loose foundation shades. For instance I am Light Beige 2.0 in the loose foundation and nude sand in the pressed foundation. Why not similar names?
HYNT BEAUTY RESPONSE: Hynt Beauty has purposely chosen not to name the Velluto and Encore shades with the same shade names. Due to the big difference in the powder formulations, they are not exact matches. Encore contains Titanium Dioxide and Velluto does not. Encore has more opacity whereas Velluto has lighter coverage and contains a greater depth of multiple tones. They are very different products and therefore cannot have similar names.”
“All I can say is WOW! This powder is so lightweight, great by it self or on top of foundation or concealer. I use this almost every day and carry in in my bag for touch-ups. Also really love the packaging!”
“I am a make up junkie who has switched to organic make up in the fast year. Coming from someone who has been using high end make up for years (I am hard to please when it comes to make up. Has too look natural and be long lasting). This powder has surprised me beyond belief! I have normal yet very sensitive skin (acne prone) and this powder looks amazing as the day goes on. Does not look cakey at all. I am currently using it under my Omiana Foundation however am going to be using this alone with the primer. I still have not tried the concealer however I will be ordering it soon. This powder compares well with the Lancome pressed powder foundation and the MAC careblend without the bad ingredients. I am a customer for life!”

“The is the best powder I've ever tried & ive tried a lot! I carry it in my purse for touch ups & spot concealing. It covers redness so quickly & evens out my makeup after a long day & makes it look fresh again without causing caking or drying. I have sensitive & acne prone skin & this powder doesn't bother me at all. I wear the shade nude sand & it's perfect for my fair skin with neutral/yellow undertones. It's worth every penny!”
