“It's a nice little lamp for the price. The metal-look parts are coated plastic and they scratch easily so be careful. Also, the shade comes flat packed with Velcro strips along the edge to attach the rings which hold it rigid - took me about ten goes to get this on right. It's the colour it looks online so I'm happy with that. We went for the lightbulb recommended - chose the equivalent to the old 40W and the daylight tone. It's jut right with it.”
