Thought I would throw out some details for others who might be wondering if this would work for them... I am an "apple", busty and carry weight in my middle with thinner legs. The dress is supper flattering, hangs really well and covers up my mid-section beautifully. I am fairly short, only 5' 4" so I did have to get it shortend, but still totally worth it. Even the seamstress said "Wow, great dress!”
