“So I initially gave this candle a one star because of the lack of scent, but after a couple of hours of burning it with no smell, the beautiful scent finally started to come through. From then on the room has never failed to fill up with the gorgeous floral smell within a minute of burning the candle, so it's almost like the top layer had to be burnt off before the scent could come through. Whilst it initially took a short while to get it going, I now absolutely love it, and the floral aroma is instant. Could you therefore kindly ignore my previous review giving it a 1 star! I absolutely love this company and as pointed out in my previous review, have been a fan since their early days making several orders. I buy imperial candles for their house engulfing scents as opposed to the jewels, so whilst my initial dissatisfaction from this purchase would not have stopped me from future buys, I am so glad to be proven wrong.”
“As a full time working mum who is the sole breadwinner of our home, I don't often spend on myself yet alone pay £30 for candles. Being a fan of imperial candles since its early days, however, and never failing to be amazed by the beautiful scents, I decided to treat myself to a new candle only to be utterly disappointed. I have always bought and loved this brand of candles (yankee doesn't even come close) for their beautiful aroma that fill the room in an instant, but I wouldn't pay £1 for this particular candle yet alone its asking price. Could not smell a thing even when I was close enough to give myself a first degree burn. Dissatisfied is an understatement.”
“The candle looks lovely and smells lovely when you take the lid off. However, when you burn the candle there is no smell at all! I checked with family members in case it was me, but no-one could smell it. It was very disappointing as I have had other, different scented, candles before from Imperial Candles that have been lovely.
I have given it 2 stars purely as the earrings inside were lovely, otherwise it would have been 1 star due to being an expensive waste of money.”
