“The mat itself is great, lovely customer service, etc. My one complaint is that the colours are really much more saturated than in the real game, and it feels wrong with all the other components. Scythe art is not meant to be radiant, I think. Anyway, still very nice to use.”

“The graphics are crisp & clear, the size is PERFECT! I love that it's in between the retail board & extension board size -it's really a sweet spot size for Scythe. I think the only thing that surprised me was that it was a little thinner than I expected. Hopefully that will be ok in the long run, I've just never had a playmat as think as this one -although it does too up a lot easier than other larger ones, so that's a plus!”

“One of the owners of my local gaming shop had this play mat and I was immediately impressed. When I first unrolled it from the packing tube I though that it was MUCH bigger than the original. It wasn't until I played a session when I was able to compare it to the original game board. It was bigger than the original but what I was most impressed with was the images were not compromised due to the larger size. Anyone who is looking for a level up of their Scythe experience should grab this game mat as part of a necessity. It is clearer, easier to read and over all %100 better than the original and at the price, you can't beat it.”

“...not just make it the same size as the extended map? The quality and craftsmanship of this mat is top-notch, but it would be perfect if it rendered the extended board obsolete. An optional storage bag would be welcome, too.”

“I think a lot of us Scythe aficionados wish we could use the flip-side/giant-hex board with our copies of Scythe but can't because our tables aren't large enough - but just barely. This mat is somewhere in between the size of the standard board and the giant hex board so juuuuust big enough to add some breathing room to the hexes and just small enough to not eat up so much table space. Do be warned that EVERYTHING was sized up, so the card spots and star track will be larger than normal. My only complaint is the color matching is off; the reds are shifted to the 'pink' side of the spectrum, particularly noticeable on the tunnel hexes, so it's got more of a cold tone. This may not bother most people; I was a graphic designer involved with a lot of color correction as a full time job so these things really stand out to me.”

“A few days after i purchased it from you it goes for sale at my local flgs for $25. Regardless of quality, i now feel i have lost out on my ability to spend money on additional things for the game. I will probably just never purchase directly from you.”
