“So, here is my story. It is going to be long but you have my permission to use any part you want for posting if you desire.
I have been a long time user of HP LaserJet printers. Printers are generally priced modestly but toner is very costly through HP. Over a year ago, I was looking for a less expensive solution for a home HP LaserJet that gets very little usage when I found your store online. I ordered toner replacement cartridges and they worked beautifully.
This spring I purchased a HP LaserJet printer (MFP M479fdw) for my wife’s desk at work. It is not a high usage machine, but the limited supply of toner that comes in the new units soon ran low. I have become an Amazon Prime member and buy lots of things (business & personal) through Amazon. It’s easy. So, I found a good deal on replacement printer cartridges on Amazon. Placed the order and when they arrived tried to install. To my surprise (my bad for not doing close enough research) the cartridges did not have a chip. The easy to do chip replacement instructions were totally falsified. I spent an hour trying to dig the old chip out of the first cartridge without damaging the chip. No success. When I finally got enough plastic filed off the chip to get it in the slot of the new cartridge, apparently it had been damaged. The printer would not recognize the new cartridge with the chip from the old cartridge. So, I packaged those up and sent them back to Amazon. No questions asked by Amazon, so good on them.
In the meantime, I had ordered a second MFP M479fdw for a non-profit I work with and it was still in the box in my office. I borrowed the new cartridges from that printer and got my wife back up and running.
So, I found the old order from InkTonerStore from over a year ago and checked out what you had on your website. I found replacement cartridges with chips so I ordered two sets, one set for my wife’s printer and one set for the new printer in the box that was going to the non-profit. The order arrived, but my wife’s machine is still using the borrowed cartridges.
I installed one set of cartridges in the new machine going to the non-profit, and when I powered up the printer, I got an error message. Now I am very discouraged. I found your customer service number and called. I only got an automated answering machine which added to my discouragement. I wasn’t sure when or if I would get a call back from this online store that I could not reach out and touch. However, to my surprise, I got a call in just a few minutes. The lady I talked to was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. She walked me through some diagnostics and we determined the magenta cartridge had a manufacturing defect. She gave me a return label. She advised me to use the old magenta cartridge until the replacement arrived. That worked great. I returned the defective cartridge and have already received the replacement.
So, I’m sold on InkTonerStore. Your prices are much better than HP. Your customer service rocks.
