2000-05 Chevrolet/GMC S10 Blazer 4WD w/RPO ZR2 w/Four-Wheel Disc Power Brake Line Kit 11pc, Stainless Reviews

2.2 Rating 5 Reviews
Ordered this kit expecting to receive the lines pictured, however what I did receive was completely different. Contacted customer service and Mike was very helpful, confirming that the lines received were incorrect and having a replacement kit sent ASAP. Open the replacement kit right away and it's exactly the same as the first. Contact customer service again who this time say the line tech confirmed they were the correct lines, huh? When looking further, it seems the lines sent were from kit SCTB00Z3. I was able to rebend the lines to make them work, which shouldn't be necessary when buying a pre-bent kit. Keep this in mind if you decide to buy this kit. Reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is that the lines seem high quality and Mike in customer service was helpful and responsive.

I didnt feel the brake line kit for my 02 ZR2 S10 Blazer was acceptable. If I'm buying a bre-bent kit, I should not have to make large manipulations to the lines. Thats the whole idea of a direct fit pre-bent line kit. It's supposed to fit, not be wrangled around and made to maybe fit. Also, given that this kit was returned because of fitment issues I felt that being charged $46 for returning it was excessive. The kit was returned unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. All that being said Ken in Customer Srevice was very good to work with and was readily accessible on the phone. He was there to answer questions and was very prompt to send the RMA forms to return the kit. The Customer Srevice was the best part of this experience.

The lines that I received were not correct. The front lines fit with out issues but the rear were just not right. Unfortunately for me I didn’t realize this until I had installed the front ones. I also had them for about 3 months before I installed them. I was able to get them to work but that’s because I’m just that good. My Blazer is a somewhat modified truck so I was going to need to do a little tweaking on the rear axle lines anyway. I believe that they were most likely boxed wrong, they appeared to be for the 4 door model.

Unfortunately only the front lines fit my 2002 ZR2. The line to the rear was way to long and had all the wrong bends. And the two that go to the rear calipers from the distribution box were also much too long. My guess is that maybe they fit a Silverado, possibly an s10.
