I am a Red Cross CPR instructor and i was quite surprised when my instructor watched 5 of us do 1 round of CPR for all of 3 minutes…. And then proceeded to pass everyone. Ridiculous.

I've taken the class before and always enjoyed it. My biggest concern was this class was that the instructor asked all of us to pull our masks down so she could see our faces. Despite being a healthcare provider, I wasn't vaccinated yet and was uncomfortable with this ask. I kept my mask up but she singled me out to ask to see my face. I pulled it down quickly but put it back up. I think in a closed room with people I don't know I would have preferred to remain fully masked the whole time, even in a CPR class.

We signed up for an infant CPR class and the day before it was scheduled I had to go in for an emergency C-Section. When I called to let them know I wouldn't make it and would like a refund, they said they couldn't. I explained the situation and there wasn't any sympathy - just "Schedule another one, then put in the notes that you paid already and you will get a refund for the second class when you attend." Our baby was in the NICU for an indeterminate amount of time and the representative we talked to wasn't very accommodating or understanding of the situation. It was so uncomfortable talking to the rep trying to let them know that we couldn't reschedule due to the fact that we didn't know when our baby would be out of the hospital we just decided to lose the money from the one we'd initially scheduled and didn't want to attend a different one. We ended up learning infant CPR from our NICU nurses.

Facility was filthy, hard to find, and staff gave only very vague directions to the facilities location.
