This is by far the best deal! I shipped them t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, jeans and shorts - all favorites when working outside. Very grateful for the protection!

Well folks, I bet you all have some favorite outdoor clothing. And if you're going to spend time in the outdoors you might as well do it safely. I grew up across the river from Lyme, CT - the place where Lyme Disease was initially noted. As a kid, almost all of us had a chance to be bitten by a tick. Some were lucky, some weren't. Insect Shield is about as best as you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones from tick borne illness. As a health care provider located in the far northeastern portion of the country that now has scads of ticks and the incidence of tick borne illness has climbed almost every year over the last decade or more. We used to be happy when we first moved to Maine as Lyme Disease was not an issue here then, that was then, this is now. We purchased a couple of the Easy Packs to send our outdoor clothes out to be treated and it was wonderfully simple. The packs arrived in just a couple of days (amazing as we live fairly far down the coast) and we selected some pants, shirts and all our hiking socks and put them in the pack. Shipped them out last week, will get them back just in time. It's going to be a big tick year so if I were you, I'd protect yourself. The cost and the hassle and the potential ramifications of getting a tick borne illness are all much more costly then the cost of treating your clothes so you're offered more protection. As always, be safe and enjoy the outdoors. P.S. Save $$ buy using the Easy Packs.

We were very impressed with the service offered to treat clothes we currently own. We do a lot of hiking in Wisconsin (Tick country) and want to protect ourselves as much as possible. Some hikes we have done, we have had to pull off many ticks from our clothes or skin. Since we owned lots of hiking clothes, we sent in a bunch to be treated. We used the fill a bag method and were surprised how many clothes we could fit in each bag to be sent in and treated, The whole process only took 2 weeks which included transit time to and from Insect shield. Everything went totally smooth. We got all the clothes back and are looking forward to using them this weekend. We were surprised to see that each piece of clothing we had treated had labels sewn in showing they were treated with Insect Shield. The socks we had treated had a stamped label on the bottom of each sock showing they were treated. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the service!!!! Would highly recommend Insect Shield.
