“If you did not know that the bandna was treated with insect repellent, you could not tell by the feel or the smell, as both are "normal". I have worn it around my neck traveling through Tanzania, Africa while on safari and while doing yardwork in northern Floridia in the summer and was not the least bothered by mosquitoes or tsetse flies. My only "complaint" would be that it seems to ties very tight and is difficult to unknott, but I suspect this will soften with time. Overall an excellent product - I actually have two and would recommend.”
