“I usually wear a size 8 or 10 depending on the cut. When I ordered these pants the size 10 was sold out, So I ordered size 8 in Regular and Relaxed hoping one would fit. They were both way too tight. Given the extremely snug fit I returned them and exchanged for a size 10 relaxed fit. I was leaving for a trip to the Everglades in a few days. The return process was great! They sent the new pants even before receiving the returned pants and they arrived the day before my depart! Great right? Well not exactly. They sent size 10 “slim” what ever that means, NOT the relaxed fit I ordered. Fortunately while a little snug they fit well enough and stretched while wearing. So it worked out. As for the insect repellent factor. It worked well. I spent a day hiking in the Everglades and didn’t get one bite, and after sitting on a bench for lunch, my husband had a few ants crawling in him, where I didn’t. I would recommend these pants, but order them well I advance of when you need them, to deal with potential sizing and order problems.”
