“I hike in my private woods every day. lots of deer and you know what they carry! bought a pair of these ONE year ago, but they wore out, most pockets ripped at corners: in the dryer on high for 20 min afer each hike, but washed only 2x! the new zip pockets are way better than the old velcro closures. also, tighter weave, and softer. I also use these for yard work, deer hang out in the yard all the time and the yard is a tick haven. no ticks on me! (I have the Insect Sield socks, shirt, hat, AND I spray my hiking shoes with Permethrin)”
