“LIght and comfortable. I was surprised there wasn't any chemical odor. The size ran small for me so I had to return for the next size. Process was very easy and quick.”
“I think these shirts are well made and will hold up to outings as an outdoor painter. I need a collar and a way to button up and cover my neck so this shirt I’d the answer because I need full protection from the sun. The fit is very good except for the bend in the elbow. I am going to open this area up and sew in additional fabric to compensate. A larger size would be too big all over so I opted to make these alterations. To be fair, this is a problem I have with long sleeved blouses currently. Blouses I have had for years in the same size have elbow room and recent purchases are too tight.”
“I started buying Insect Shield clothing because I am (understandably) terrified of ticks bearing Lyme disease. As an urban dweller, I had become fearful of visiting friends who live in beautiful, green, rural and suburban places. A friend who has had a bad time with ticks recommended Insect Shield, telling me that since she started wearing Insect Shield clothing, she has been free of ticks. I'm finding that in addition to feeling much safer when I go to the country, my Insect Shield shirts are very helpful for keeping mosquitoes and gnats away. This shirt is light and comfortable for summer and looks good. I especially like the vents which are inconspicuous but helpful for steamy days.”
