“I've purchased IS products for many years and I recommend them to my fellow field workers. I work in environmental science and spend a lot of time in tick infested tall grass. My Insect Shield clothing keeps me 100% protected, no lie. But my issue is the sizing on the pants. I wear a 33" waist but often buy 34" for extra comfort. In the past couple of years I have pruchased many pants from LL Bean, Wrangler, Deluth Trading, shorts from Macys and others. All are 34" waist and are very comfortable. But the last three pair of Cargo Pants from Insect Shield at 34" have been so tight that I can barely close them. It's frustrating and my advice to anyone buying pants from this company buy one waist size larger so they are not disappointed.”
“Like all other Insect Shield clothing, these pants work great at being what they are called, shielding me from insects! These pants are comfortable and, I believe, will hold up to tough wearing experiences (a lot of work with cutting and stacking wood, branches, logs) on our property. My only negative, seem a little longer than my usual 30" pants (I can work around that issue). Another note: I wear Insect Shield clothing from feet to head and have for years and can attest to the longevity of the shielding from ticks, etc. and the comfort of the various kinds of clothing.”
“I do a lot of volunteer work out in the field in North Jersey and the populations of several tick species increases every year. I get total protection with my insect sheild carco pants and insect shield socks pulled over them for the entire season. The product is great. My only complaint is that the last time I ordered two pair, exactly the same, one pair fit perfectly and the other was tight. Also my only choice for shipping was high prived fedx. But I love the clothes because they really do give great protection.”
