“We live in very high tick habitat and have to dress to protect ourselves (head to toe) year round. We send lots of our own clothes to Insect Shield for treatment, but we buy these pants for my husband. He really likes the comfortable style, pockets, and especially the lighter weight. He wears them whenever he is outdoors, which is almost every day. Mowing, land work, building projects, hiking. Can wear them even in summer, when we still need to wear long pants with socks up over them. He is very tough on clothing and goes through a couple of pairs a year but we believe these are worth the price. Neighbors find ticks all over themselves--we haven't found one on us in at least three years.”
